As we celebrate our 60 years of service to San Francisco Bay Area Pet Lovers, we take time to reflect on the many friends we have made over the years. We have assisted many people with their pets over time and as many people inquire, this is a sad business indeed. I resolve the task with the knowledge that we are dealing with a part of the public that recognizes the unconditional love that is the gift of owning a pet. I firmly believe that, to be a real human being, you have to love something and pet lovers are in fact a very unique breed. My perspective on the world is influenced because all the people I deal with are pet lovers and pet lovers, having experienced unconditional love, are way above average in their ability to project love and caring and good feelings for our wonderful animal friends.
We have been forced to increase our prices due to the increased cost of energy. We are very much dependent on energy with our pickup and cremation service. All our suppliers have raised their prices to us and we must do the same. I am sorry that this is the way our economy works.
My sister Anne was visiting from Phoenix and I was complaining about the lack of space and our crowded conditions. She made some suggestions and I called an architect and next thing applied for a loan and got a contractor and magically it is done. We started our remodel in February of 2005 and I am proud to announce that the project is complete. We have added a reception area and a new chapel and a new crematory building with two new state of the art crematories. We have also added lots of art work to add to the new look. We have a new mural that is on the side of our main building and it is magnificent. We invite you to come and visit.
